Our Story
Hey There, This is Muntasir Ebna Helal. I have completed my B2 Level a while ago. When I was doing my A1 level, I used to search for meanings on google. Typing the words and searching for their meaning every single time was a hassle and time-consuming. Also, they would give me multiple meanings for a single word. I don’t blame them but not getting the single perfect meaning according to the Netzwerk chapter’s context surely made me waste time translating. Opening the Glossay book and searching them manually consumed less time. But I wanted a faster way so that I won’t have to go through the book every single time. That’s when it came to me. Why don’t I create an app? An app where every word will be there according to levels, chapters, etc and I would get to find any word with just a click.
When I was at the A2 level, I created German A1 Words, German A2 Words, and German B1 words Android applications. Though it was pretty good, it had some lackings. Due to my busy schedule, I could not work with these apps anymore. Also, I had already lost interest in android app development altogether. Currently, I am working on web application development. Since I had all the data from those apps, I thought of creating a web app to help beginners who just started learning the German language as well as old students with their revision.
Technology Used
This web app is created with Next JS by our Dotinverse team. For pronunciation, we have used Amazon Polly API and we are paying for it. There are also free ones but those pronunciations sound robotic and were not 100% accurate. Using this app won’t cost any fees but we are open for treats.
